The room we had was spacious and large, including a cozy bed in the bedroom, the staff were extremely friendly and ready to assist, plus the location was superbly convenient as it was close to everything around.

the location was particularly good and perfect as for me, close to very close to takayama station, the markets with and the stations and old town.

We loved the quadruple room which was good-sized with a comfortable bed. The breakfast had lots of delicious food and drinks. The hotel was in an excellent location close to Takayama Station, the best restaurants around Takayama and local sights. The staff was top-class, as well as owner.

overall memorable stay for one night. clean hotel, comfy room, great and lovely staff. the rooms with a comfortable bed. minutes from a bus stop, easy to get to the venue.

Booked it for 1 day and had a wonderful experience. the room was cheap and neat with a comfortable bed and all other comforts. the location was great and amazing, relatively near a 58m-high tower. the hotel had a lovely bar and a good restaurant.

Easy to find, small but nice and clean room with Japanese style guesthouse. Feel like home.

We had a room that had a traditional Japanese style and a really tidy bathroom to chill out. the quiet location was great, plus there were some local markets and a market in the area. 👍

Very friendly welcoming hosts, who provide many information about what to do and see in Takayama and around. They both speak very good English. Staying at this guesthouse just gives you the feeling of visiting friends. The hosts introduce all their guests to each other, so it is easy to get contact to other travellers, too. The guesthouse is located very close to the train station and bus terminal. So you have a easy starting point for daytrips. I felt very comfortable staying there. And I really loved the guesthouse with its japanese interieur, and especially the big table with everyone sitting around and having a chat and a cup of coffee.

The room was a good size with a comfortable bed and all the essentials. Everywhere was fairly clean. - the location was incredible - right by the old town, Takayama main attractions, train stations, and bus stations. - Furthermore, in a quiet residential area.

The quilt is too heavy. Cannot sleep well. As we share room in a guest house, moving around during sleepless night is disturbing to others, therefore comfortable bedding and good ventilation are more important than usual hotel room.

Friendly owners, great place to stay few nights and enjoy japanese style. We enjoyed it a lot.

There is nothing to complain about.
